WATCH TCM App Reviews

Over the past year I have tried to use this app. I downloaded find I cant use it and then delete it. Time Warner Cable was recently purchased by charter spectrum and yet your app will not allow me to connect with spectrum. There are other TV apps that will allow the time warnerand spectrum connection. Please tell me when I will be able to use this app

Please add Time Warner Cable as one of your providers. The app is great, and would be better if I could use it to watch your movies. Maybe when Charter Spectrum completely takes over Time Warner, this issue will be moot.

How cool to be able to watch 30 movies every month, and all great! If you think new movies are lacking, check out these awesome classics in a fantastic interface !

The quality of this app is superb. Generally excellent playback with minimal buffering breaks and very lush color & black and white reproductions. I love the selection and the fact you can watch live or pick from their enormous library of movies theyre showing. If you love film, you have to have this app!

We love watching TCM - have been fans for years. But trying to watch it on an iPad is so frustrating. I have to sign in each time I use the app. The streaming stalls every night between 7 pm & 8:30 forcing continual stopping & resuming of video every 30-60 secs. Watch it on TV & forget the app

TCM continues to shine by keeping classic Cinema just that. We are lost a bit without Mr. Osborne but eventually a suitable knowledgeable person will stabilize the service. I adore the effort and cinematography black and white movies provided during their prime ( which I personally consider 1930-1945) so many classics to choose from. Such devotion and hard work to keep set designs, costuming and music all in step so as never to overpower the story. TCM "keeps it Reel"! Background info provides new insight on these films as a 10th viewing of a classic like "Now Voyager" will still provides a new perspective. These films are irreplaceable. Thank you TCM for giving me the one reason to keep my cable!

Absolutely love this app!!! What a boon for the classic movie fan! This helps me as I will watch a movie after work that had shown earlier in the day. Great movies all the time. The only channel I watch (besides football games)! Love it!!!

I enjoy watching the old black and white movies when actors could really act! I gave it 4 stars because there should be a search option for on demand movies. Through search every movie in their library would be available not just what someone selects for the week/month.

Enjoying the TCM app and that it allows us "old timers" to relive the joy of watching classics from our day and the terrific acting that is so classic. My favorites are the old westerns, black/ white or color, and pirate movies. Thank you.

App is not available on AppleTV. When I relay it from iPad via Airplay, it shrinks the screen on the AppleTV. Also, the iPad app sometimes refuses to obey the "back" button in the top left corner, which seems to be too small. All the buttons and type are tiny.

I love this site. I remember watching a lot of these when I was a kid. They are the best and too bad Hollywood cant act like this again. But, it may be possible but I wish I could type in movies I would like to see like the Thin Man Series and all of the old musical movies. But this is the best thing on my iPad. Thanks for making it possible.

Best app for lovers of classic movies

Id give it two stars if it would actually play a film.

I really enjoy watching TWC which I can do live on my TV or my computer on my phone but not on the app.It says on the app that if you watch TCM on TV you can watch on the app however I cannot watch b/c TIme Warner Cable is not listed in the list. Last night, I watched a movie and I am in advertently fell asleep and missed the last half. Movie is on demand until the end of November,but theres no way I can see the movie now to finish it because Time Warner cable or none of my other paid devices like AppleTV, or Netflix, or Amazon prime is connected to TWC. I cant watch it on YouTube or any other place because of some infringement and it was taken off.I find this very disappointing especially since I pay all this money for all these different things and I watch it on TV but cant repeat what I watched if I need to review it.

I grew up watching TCM at my grandparents house and LOVED it. Definitely my favorite channel. We never had cable at my own house and I dont have cable now. But I would love to be able to access TCM. I would be happy paying a small per month subscription price like you do with Netflix to be able to access all the great content from TCM. Get with the times, guys. Not everyone has a cable subscription, and you would reach so many more customers if you didnt require everyone to have a cable login. Just my 2 cents.
